The Return
This October, we invite you to GDAS in Ubud, Bali, set in the heart of the island’s spiritually rich landscape, surrounded by jungle, rice fields, and the deep, unhurried energy that Ubud is known for.
The Return is IKIGAI’s most immersive retreat to date. Over five days, you will move through daily practice, breathwork, meditation, self-inquiry, sound healing, water purification, fire ceremony, recovery rituals, and meaningful time to reconnect with what truly matters.
A curated seven-day, six-night photography retreat by cinematic travel photographer I Wayan Wahyu Mahendra, hosted at GDAS Bali in the artisan village of Mas, Ubud. Limited to 6–10 photographers, the programme invites participants to slow down through mindful assignments, one-on-one coaching, and immersive encounters with Balinese culture and local artisans.
Blending photography with wellness, the retreat includes restorative practices, purification, sound healing, traditional meboreh, and biohacking at the Eden Longevity Centre. A thoughtful journey of seeing, creating, and reconnecting—designed to help photographers create with greater presence and intention.
